Lies
All lies.
Never
blinking.
Never hearing
my words that are calling
out your name.
Every second that ticks by
I can't seem to feel
the anguish,
the pain;
the ones
that my heart had always bore
with all its strength
but have never, even ever,
endured.
since the day
I was born.
Everyone else is screaming
but I can't hear
their voices
where my eyes are deaf.
I looked them in the eyes, they have no face.
just a stranger in disguise.
where there was black.
Dark as the night sky
as your soul just melts to die
in this fantasy-driven cry,
I have no name.
touching your face
bits and numbers
—only touching
binary numbers;
—only hearing
robotic mumbles;
—only seeing
preprogrammed dialogues,
to the point
when it's just
predictable.
